Made in Chiswick was founded by Prinul Polessi Patel who grew up on a timber saw-mill in Kenya. After training in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, London he spent ten years working at a specialist hardwood merchant liaising with architects, designers, developers and homeowners on building and renovation projects.

The company now makes high end furniture exclusively in collaboration with architects and designers.
