Our Story

Made in Chiswick was founded by Prinul Polessi Patel who grew up on a timber saw-mill in Kenya. After training in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, London he spent ten years working at a specialist hardwood merchant liaising with architects and designers on building and renovation projects. 

CPD 

Something you may find useful for yourself or your colleagues is our free talk on timber for continued professional development. We would be more than happy to pass on our experience of sourcing, using and supplying high quality timber and timber products. From simple tips on identifying timber to more detailed information on how to best format a cutting list, this information can save you time and money and will benefit you, your clients and your suppliers. 

This service is absolutely free and to take advantage, please get in touch. 

Environment

For every project undertaken, a piece of land will be bought for protection in the Rainforest.

The woodlands must be replenished for us to continue enjoying this planet. At Made in Chiswick, we passionately support organisations that manage and raise awareness for the protection of our forests. We are currently contributing to The World Land Trust which is championed by Sir David Attenborough and the Woodland Trust, which is based in the UK.
